Kalabharathi values each individuals’ artistic ability and interest.
It provides the right atmosphere for the students to enjoy and appreciate this divine art form through superior quality instructions.

The calendar year for Kalabharathi extends from September to July.
Classes in the summer months of July and August are scheduled for camps with visiting artistes from India. This is also the time that several kids get ready for arangetrams and other intensive practices for summer performances.

Classes are divided into 5 levels. These levels include beginners, juniors, intermediates, seniors, post arangetram group, adults (beginners and advanced).

Classes for all the groups are twice a week. Each class is one hour in duration. Class size varies.
Classes are taught by Sivagami and Vithra.

In addition to regular classes, students attend special classes for performances and productions.

Private lessons for arangetram training are scheduled on an individual basis.

The Kalabharathi School of Dance is committed to promote and present Bharathanatyam, an ancient South Indian dance form, through instructional classes and professional performances.

We aim to have a multi-cultural approach to our presentations, so that audiences of all backgrounds may experience and enjoy this rich classical dance form.

Our goal is to promote this dance form as a cultural bridge so that we may share the peace and spirituality that is an integral part of this form of artistic expression.
